YOUR TASKS
You will be responsible for the technical support of our customers using new and innovative semiconductor solutions especially focusing on AC-DC and Motor driver ICs. The role is also seen as the voice of our customer to Marketing department and LSI Business unit at ROHM Headquarter.
Main tasks:
- Technical support of AC-DC and Motor driver ICs for our customers; component choice, system calculations, PCB design and evaluation
- Design and evaluation of reference circuits and PCBs
- Supporting identified business opportunities for AC-DC and Motor driver ICs within our defined focused applications
- Providing the customer with deep technical design assistance and trouble shooting
- Supporting promotional activities
- Writing fighting guides, application notes, user guides and technical articles
- Competitive analysis
- EMC measurement for Automotive/Industrial applications
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Adequate years of experience as Application Engineer
- Basic understanding of analog and mixed signal IC design to be able to communicate effectively with designers
- Experimental skills to evaluate and characterize new products and applications in the lab
- Negotiation skills with customers addressing technical problems
- Fluent language skills in English and preferably in German
